The SS Series™ is a collection of stainless steel trench drain systems designed for environments where hygiene, sanitation, and durability are non-negotiable. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with smooth, easy-to-clean channel profiles, SS Series drains support efficient washdown, reduce bacteria buildup, and meet the demands of food processing, commercial kitchens, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare, and other sanitary applications.

The collection includes the SS500 Series™, a shallow stainless steel drainage system ideal for small commercial spaces with limited depth, the SS600 Series™, the most popular and versatile option designed to maximize flow capacity for a wide range of commercial projects, and the SS1200 Series™, a wide, high-capacity trench drain engineered for heavy-duty commercial applications requiring increased hydraulic performance and load ratings. Together, the SS Series delivers a scalable, professional-grade drainage solution that balances performance, compliance, and long-term reliability.

The SS500 Series™ is exclusively available through Trench Drain Systems. This shallow stainless steel drainage system is specifically designed for small commercial markets. The 6.25″ (OD) 16 gauge stainless steel channels feature a built-in 0.5% slope. Stainless U-shaped channels come in 48″ and 96″ lengths with neutral channels to allow for longer runs. Custom sections are available.

For longer runs, the SS500 Series™ has been configured to bridge to the SS600™ series. This will also increase the overall depth of the entire system. Channels connect with a neoprene gasket and bolts on a flanged connection with a smooth U-shaped profile. Bottom outlets are available in 2″, 3″ and 4″ diameters. Tee sections, 90° elbows, catch basins and debris strainers are also available. Bottom outlets can be utilized on every fifth channel. To reach your full run length, select a channel with an outlet, then add channels upstream to the desired length of your total run.

TDS’s SS600 Series™ is a stainless steel trench drain designed for small commercial markets. The 6.25″ (OD) 16 gauge stainless steel channels feature a built-in 1.0% slope that allows the system to redirect up to 470 GPM (gallons per minute). Stainless channels come in 48″ and 24″ lengths with neutral channels to allow for longer runs. Custom sections are available.

Channels connect with a bolted, flanged connection and have a smooth v-shaped profile. End and bottom outlets are available in 2″, 3″ and 4″ diameters. Tee sections, 90° elbows, catch basins and debris strainers are also available. Bottom outlets (4″ diameter) and end outlets can be utilized on every fifth channel. To reach your full run length, select a channel with an outlet, then add channels upstream to the desired length of your total run.

Catch Basins

Trench Drain Systems offers SS600 Series™ stainless steel catch basins to help catch sediment and debris. Available in standard widths of 6″, 12″ or 24″ and 24″ in length. When applications have the need to easily remove debris, trash baskets can be added. Outlet sizes and positioning are based upon your requirements.

The SS600 Series™ catch basins are offered in three standard sizes:

  • SS650 – 6.25″ x 24″
  • SS651 – 12″ x 24″
  • SS653 – 24″ x 24″

Outlet can be specified for end, bottom, or side of catch basin.

Other sizes can be custom ordered. Trash baskets are also available.

The TDS SS 1200 Series™ is considered a 12″ wide trench drain system designed for commercial applications that require stainless steel set up. The (OD) is 16″ with the throat of the channel measuring 12.5″ wide. Sections come in lengths of 24″ and 48″ long. The material conforms to ASTM A-240 (type 304)16 gauge stainless steel. Channels for this system feature a built-in 1% slope with neutral channels available. Inlet/outlet depths range from 6.0″ to 16″ 

Grate covers for the system range from Load Class A to F including options with H-20 and/or FAA load ratings along with ADA compliance with appropriate locking devices to secure drain grates into position. End caps and catch basins are available with the SS1200. 

 Custom sections and accessories are available.

Trench Covers

The SS600 Series offers grates ideal for sanitary, chemical resistance and high-temperature applications. Choose from cast iron, stainless steel, or several fiberglass options. Grates meet a range of load requirements from Class A pedestrian to Class E forklift-rated.
