TrenchFormer® System

Take control of your project with ABT’s TrenchFormer®. This poured-in-place trench former system lets you select the width, depth, shape, and slope rate for a fully customizable drain. With expanded polystyrene forms, TrenchFormer® installs 10 percent quicker than cast-in-place foundry systems without the expensive framing materials. Each form can be sloped or non-sloped with a rounded, square trapezoidal, or custom shape. Eliminates penetration of the subfloor during installation. Unlike traditional rebar stakes, Trench Former uses U-shaped rebar legs to support and level the system, preventing penetration into the sub-slab.

TFX Series – 6-24″ Widths

TrenchFormer® frames come standard in black painted steel or hot dip galvanized. Stainless steel, fiberglass and aluminum frames are also available.

Auxiliary assemblies allow frames to create expansion joints or to create a custom radius. L-Frame assemblies allow the system to turn corners without sacrificing load capacity.

TFX TrenchFormer® offers trench heavy-duty grates in heel-proof, ADA and high-intake designs. TFX grates secure into place with toggle bolts.

MHD Series

MHD Series comes in 8″, 12″ and 18″ widths. The system features 2″ angle and 2-meter, 1-meter and 1/2-meter lengths. Auxiliary frames allow T-intersections, corners and radius turn.

MHD Series heavy-duty grates come in 1/2 meter sections. Four corner pinning locks allow for H-20 and H-25 load bearing.

XHD Series

XHD is designed for intermodal and international airport applications. With a 2.5″ angle and galvanized rails, this trench former system comes in 8″, 12″ and 18″ widths. XHD’s galvanized steel rails provide concrete bearing width that is the widest in the industry.

Catch Basins

Trench Drain Systems offers 3000 Series catch basins to help catch sediment and debris. Our sediment basket is designed with inverted V handle for easy removal.

3000 Series catch basins come in 12” and 24” widths. Basin frames are available in zinc plated or stainless. We offer four grating options: ductile iron, fiberglass, galvanized bar and stainless bar.
