Bronze Age Grates

Discovering that there are limited options when it comes to decorative grates for 6″ trench drain systems, TDS designed five different stainless steel and galvanized grates. Stainless steel options come with standard 304 grade metal but marine grade 316L is available as a custom option. Although these grates are rated as a Load Class A, if properly installed, Load Class B can be established. If your project requires a more robust grate, reinforced versions of these grates can be created upon request. Be advised that galvanized grates are not recommended for stainless steel drainage systems as galvanic corrosion may occur.
