The POLYCAST® catch Basins are an important part of any POLYCAST® installation and run. Made out of the same high strength polyester and vinyl ester concrete used for the POLYCAST® channels, they too can handle many applications. The 653 and 753 catch basins are massive 24″ x 24″ catch basins that can handle heavy duty applications.
Open Bottom Stacking
The POLYCAST® 653 and 753 catch basins can be stacked providing a unique advantage for contractors. The open bottom stacking version on the 653/753 is called the 653OB and 753OB. The 653OB unit sits on top of the regular 653/753 catch basin’s cast iron frame. A cast iron frame then needs to be placed on top of the open bottom catch basin to hold and secure the grates. This will add an extra 25 inches or so to your configuration.
