The ULMA U100K linear drainage system is made with polymer concrete featuring a built-in galvanized steel edging and 0.5% slope. It is an ideal drainage solution for load class ratings A through C including commercial, pedestrian, parking and sports applications. Channels are offered in 1 meter sections with neutral and half channels available.

The galvanized steel edging serves several purposes. First, it provides a more finished look that can be an additional cost with similar products. The edging also helps to keep surface materials such as mulch, dirt or stones from entering the channel. It prevents the channel from being obstructed by debris over time. Another benefit that galvanized edging provides is that its chemical resistance is perfect in coastal areas.

The advantage of using polymer concrete is that it helps to make the channels more impact resistant. It also provides a smooth channel surface that has a near zero absorption rate which increases the flow rate. This is in comparison to concrete which has a 5-10% absorption rate. ULMA drainage solutions tolerate seasonal freeze-thaw and can withstand temperatures at a maximum of 167°F/75°C.
