The POLYCAST® 900 Series is the nation’s premier transportation industry trench drain system. With over 25 years of service, this system has proven itself time and time again as the industry standard.
The 900 Series is designed for heavy traffic areas such as airports and roadways. Sloping .65 percent at 6.25″ wide (OD), the transportation-rated drainage system carries up to 470 GPM – more than comparable systems from other manufacturers. The trench system’s channels come in 48″ and 24″ lengths, making for easier installations that involve fewer pieces.
POLYCAST® 900 Series’ polymer concrete channel body makes it resistant to salt, oils, acids and alkalis found in high -traffic roadways and airports. The system features interlocking tongue-and-groove channels and adjustable installation chairs for a secure concrete pour.
POLYCAST® 900 Series uses a non-removable ductile iron slotted grate with cast lugs that secure it into the surrounding concrete. The drain system’s anchoring flanges prevent channels from shifting after installation and also distribute heavy loads into the surrounding concrete. With 60 percent open area, the heavy-duty iron grates prevent heavy rains from running onto the roadways and airplane taxi surfaces. POLYCAST® 900 Series offers a ductile iron cleanout grate, a removable grate that allows service crews to clean debris from the system.

Installation Chair
Installation chairs are the most efficient and economical means of setting up a precast trench system. The installation chair supports the ends of the channel, aligns and locks the joints rigidly together, and prevents the channels from floating. Adjusting channel elevation is easy. One chair is required for every joint. The chair is made from 1018 hot-rolled steel and has a zinc-plated finish.
Pipe Adapter End Caps
POLYCAST® end caps are used to enclose or provide piping transitions to outlet or inlet ends of the channel whenever catch basins are not being used. End caps output to a 4″ pipe. The material is ABS plastic.
Polymer concrete end caps are also available.
